 Suki is bored because all her little friends are hibernating for the winter.  She takes a nap in the sunny studio.

It was a treat to see the sun shining on the snow for a change.

A cold winter day is always a good time for getting some sewing done.  This is a possible new quilt of Marcia's up on the wall

 And the latest version of a quilt which has been up there for awhile.  Marcia says its ready for quilting.

And I finished my Medicine Men Mola Quilt.

 Barb is making great progress on this vest with lots of beading and embellishment.

 My Dancing Sprites quilt is finished. 

I am making a wall hanging of three Shaman type molas from some of my Panama trips.  The middle panel is medicinal pots. 

 The latest revision of one of Marcia's upcoming quilts.

And she had just finished a jacket made from a rayon batik.

 Suky always loves to greet visitors, test fabric and get in on the action, always under her terms.

 I finally have the Seminole strips finished for this mola quilt.  Now all I have to do is quilt it somehow!

 Marcia has been working on this new quilt for quite some time.

 This is a new small quilt I began working on in Studio with Philippa Naylor at QBL this summer.

 A new kimono jacket I began work on.  The fabric is a Liberty of London cotton I purchased in London about 20 years ago.

 Inspector Suki checks out a fabric I brought for a possible jacket.

 And Marcia inspects the saris I brought to make sure she didn't miss one.

 I found this heavy cotton mola print on Ebay and will make a jacket from it.

 Suki took her usual afternoon nap in the studio for a change so she wouldn't miss anything.

 Beth inspects her sister's caveman quilt from Ricky Tim and the blocks she is putting up on the wall.

And I continued working on the seminole border for the mola quilt.

 I was taking a look at this quilted sari to try and figure out how to make it into a jacket.  I probably can only use pieces because of the design. Click on the picture to see the pretty ladies up close.

 Beth had a new quilt top she wanted to work on.

 These kimono jackets are becoming addictive.  This was a nice rayon print which I found in my stash.

 And Beth had hers almost done from last week.

My jacket with the band attached.  It still needs sewing down and shoulder pads added.

 I wanted to try out the Seminole Patchwork Strips I had been sewing and see if I wanted them all the way around or just on the top and bottom.

And Nancy is still working on her Kodak piece.  This time she was adding words made from Scrabble pieces.

 I tried once more to bring a finish to the blue hmong jacket.  I thought molas might work but rejected them.

 I also brought a vintage linen tablecloth which might be the base for a future jacket

Beth has this wonderful quilt from last weekend's workshop all but finished.

And will probably make another using molas instead of the arrows.  The pallet she chose is just about perfect for them

Beth was selecting a few more molas from my recent Panama trip to add to her collection.  Suki decided she needed to check them out as well.

And Beth has yet another One Block Wonder quilt in progress.
