Priscilla Kibbee

I love to travel all over the globe shopping for textiles to add to my wearable art. I have taught quilting to school children in Nepal, seminole patchwork to seamstresses in Thailand, and jackets and embellishment to quilters in Turkey where I also served as a judge at 2 of their International Quilt Shows. I have created garments for 5 Fairfield and Bernina Fashion Shows and teach classes on embellishment and wearable art. Lately I have been leaning more toward making art quilts.

Just Another Shopping Day

We tried to go to Topkapi Palace but it was closed. So what to do? Go shopping of course. We found the absolute perfect hat for Wendy but the owner of the shop wouldn't sell it! What kind of a place is this? Every girl needs a new bit of jewelry...right? We each bought one after a bit of dickering and some apple tea of course.

More forays into the Afghanistan/Turkmenistan shops.

Yet another step on the foray for the perfect hat.
Is this supposed to be an eye mask?
Then there's always ceramics.
Does this come in a 36B? So many hats...so little time.
