Priscilla Kibbee

I love to travel all over the globe shopping for textiles to add to my wearable art. I have taught quilting to school children in Nepal, seminole patchwork to seamstresses in Thailand, and jackets and embellishment to quilters in Turkey where I also served as a judge at 2 of their International Quilt Shows. I have created garments for 5 Fairfield and Bernina Fashion Shows and teach classes on embellishment and wearable art. Lately I have been leaning more toward making art quilts.

Kimono Jacket Class and Fashion Show

On March 2nd I taught a Kimono Jacket Class at the Bobbin Case in Rochester.  Diane came wearing a Butterfly Jacket she had made in a previous class.
She made a wonderful use of oriental fabrics.
Anne, always the overachiever, had her jacket almost finished at the end of class.
Then on March 21st I presented a Fashion Show of my garments for the wonderful Common Thread Quilt Guild in Vestal.

Fashion Show in Batavia and Bog Coat Class

Fashion Show:

I had the pleasure of presenting a Fashion Show at the monthly meeting of the Batavia Quilt Group today. Kathi Everett, my hostess, took over 100 photos which she has posted on her wonderful blog.

Bog Coat Class:

I had several requests for the date I would be scheduling a new jacket class. My next class is the Bog Coat, a one day class at the Bobbin Case on Monroe Ave. in Rochester on October 10th.
