Priscilla Kibbee

I love to travel all over the globe shopping for textiles to add to my wearable art. I have taught quilting to school children in Nepal, seminole patchwork to seamstresses in Thailand, and jackets and embellishment to quilters in Turkey where I also served as a judge at 2 of their International Quilt Shows. I have created garments for 5 Fairfield and Bernina Fashion Shows and teach classes on embellishment and wearable art. Lately I have been leaning more toward making art quilts.

Trip to Jodhpur, India, Jan-Feb-2012 -Arrival in Jodhpur

At noon I reluntantly checked out..I could have happily stayed the month but my charge card would have gone into meltdown...and headed for the Indian Museum also on Janpath. I couldn't take photos inside and several exhibit areas were closed so it wasn't all that interesting. The best exhibit was a group of wonderful paintings. Statue on the grounds.

This carriage is a recent addition and is hundreds of years old.

Time for tea at Cafe Coffee Day before catching the night sleeper train to Jodhpur
Isn't that an adorable little tea pot? There are Cafe Coffee Day branches everywhere, even in Jodhpur.

My bags in front of an old train outside the Jodhpur Train Station. My host had asked me to wait for him here.

A group of beggars, complete with monkey, outside the station.

My room at the Guest House. Luckily it wasn't mosquito season yet. Too cold.
