Priscilla Kibbee

I love to travel all over the globe shopping for textiles to add to my wearable art. I have taught quilting to school children in Nepal, seminole patchwork to seamstresses in Thailand, and jackets and embellishment to quilters in Turkey where I also served as a judge at 2 of their International Quilt Shows. I have created garments for 5 Fairfield and Bernina Fashion Shows and teach classes on embellishment and wearable art. Lately I have been leaning more toward making art quilts.

Christmas Party at Pat Pauly's

There's always time for a bit of shopping before lunch at Pat Pauly's beautiful home. This time it was beautiful kimonos and jackets which Nancy brought back from her trip to Japan.

Then it was time to eat.

After lunch we found time for a bit of critiquing before dessert. Pat was deciding on whether to cut this quilt down to fit the requirements of a show she was considering.

And had a couple of design ideas.

And work in progress.

Linda had a piece made from scraps from another project.

She had several woven pieces made from rolls of strips she purchased at Bits and Pieces.

Nancy had added some found objects to her three pieces from the last challenge.

By then it was time for a delicious apple pie.

Pat's cat came by occasionally to supervise the proceedings.

And we all had to sample Pat's delicious fig cookies.
