I love to travel all over the globe shopping for textiles to add to my wearable art. I have taught quilting to school children in Nepal, seminole patchwork to seamstresses in Thailand, and jackets and embellishment to quilters in Turkey where I also served as a judge at 2 of their International Quilt Shows. I have created garments for 5 Fairfield and Bernina Fashion Shows and teach classes on embellishment and wearable art. Lately I have been leaning more toward making art quilts.
Trip to Jodhpur, India, Jan-Feb.2012-The Last Days

A tree growing out of the North Gate in the Clock Tower Market area.

A great view of the Fort from the Old Town area with a cow on the ledge.

The boutique shop associated with the NGO.

If you need a ladder you just go to the ladder maker by the market and have one made.

A view of the Fort from the roof of the Guest House.

The "Fort View" Room...a nice place to eat breakfast in the sun on cold days.

A town view from the roof.

Looking down at the Guest House courtyard.

The table where we all gathered for meals in the courtyard.

A painting in the upstairs hall.

And an upstairs hall sitting area.

Outside one of the downstairs rooms.

The family dog, Chili, who was thoroughly spoiled. Although I suspect she did quite a bit of the spoiling herself.
