I love to travel all over the globe shopping for textiles to add to my wearable art. I have taught quilting to school children in Nepal, seminole patchwork to seamstresses in Thailand, and jackets and embellishment to quilters in Turkey where I also served as a judge at 2 of their International Quilt Shows. I have created garments for 5 Fairfield and Bernina Fashion Shows and teach classes on embellishment and wearable art. Lately I have been leaning more toward making art quilts.

Project Iron Quilter- The Swimsuit Competition

Pat Pauly writes:

"The training, the search for the perfect three pieces of fabric, eating in Iron Skillett restaurants, pumping Iron, taking my iron supplements, ..................and thinking about which bathing suit to wear during the event (my husband says I will get extra points for style) has erased all of life's troubles."

SWIMSUIT COMPETITION!!!!! Oh....oh. What to wear?

Should it be sexy?

Or demure?

Or maybe something with a lot of fabric. I could snip off some for my quilt when the judges weren't looking.
Pat Pauly goes on to say: "So, look out. I am ready. Oh -- wait -- there is no bathing suit portion of this competition? Well, that's okay."

WHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
