Priscilla Kibbee

I love to travel all over the globe shopping for textiles to add to my wearable art. I have taught quilting to school children in Nepal, seminole patchwork to seamstresses in Thailand, and jackets and embellishment to quilters in Turkey where I also served as a judge at 2 of their International Quilt Shows. I have created garments for 5 Fairfield and Bernina Fashion Shows and teach classes on embellishment and wearable art. Lately I have been leaning more toward making art quilts.

Tiger Photo--Just a Teaser from my Latest Trip

I returned home last night toward midnight and am just putting up this teaser photo from my trip to Cambodia, Laos and Thailand . People who know me know what a huge tiger fan I am. This is a photo of me with an obviously friendly tiger at the Tiger Temple in Northwest Thailand. The monks there began taking in wounded animals in the late 90's and were given a few baby tigers whose mothers had been killed by poachers. More photos and story later today when I have time to download a few photos.
