India Nepal Trip Continued
On the north side of Indra Chowk there seems to be a perpetual open air scarf shop. It must be quite a feat to set up and take down every day.

The courtyard of the home of the Living Goddess also known as Kumari Devi. She is chosen as a small child and serves until puberty. There are several Goddesses in the Valley but this one is the most important. She is the one who greets the King during the Indra Jatra Festival in the fall...although this year it was the Primeminister due to the unrest over the King.
