Priscilla Kibbee

I love to travel all over the globe shopping for textiles to add to my wearable art. I have taught quilting to school children in Nepal, seminole patchwork to seamstresses in Thailand, and jackets and embellishment to quilters in Turkey where I also served as a judge at 2 of their International Quilt Shows. I have created garments for 5 Fairfield and Bernina Fashion Shows and teach classes on embellishment and wearable art. Lately I have been leaning more toward making art quilts.

Trip to India Jan-Feb-2013- Jaisalmer

Then it was on to Jaisalmer and my hotel with a view of the fort.  I had a suite on the top floor right off the restaurant and with a view of the massive Fort.
The suite opened with a sitting room, foyer.
View into my bedroom.  The bed was shrouded with this red lace cover which was replaced daily.  I have found this sort of cover in other hotels.
The bathroom was HUGE and gorgeous.
I wanted to take it home.
It was the largest room in the suite.
 And a desk of course
Another sitting area in the bedroom with a tv and refrigerator.  The window behind the settee looked down on a plaza and it was great fun to people watch.  One evening three wedding processions went by outside my window.  I could get the same view if I walked out my door and looked down from the restaurant but this was much cozier.
 One of the hotel courtyards.
 And a pool, of course
 Another view of the Fort.
A swing in one of the courtyards.
