Priscilla Kibbee

I love to travel all over the globe shopping for textiles to add to my wearable art. I have taught quilting to school children in Nepal, seminole patchwork to seamstresses in Thailand, and jackets and embellishment to quilters in Turkey where I also served as a judge at 2 of their International Quilt Shows. I have created garments for 5 Fairfield and Bernina Fashion Shows and teach classes on embellishment and wearable art. Lately I have been leaning more toward making art quilts.

Its a Blizzard Out There!

It began snowing when i drove home from Marcia's last night and the bad weather is still out there. I woke up this morning to this landscape.

My neighbors backyard looking over to the next street and my daughter's house.
The tip of my garage and beyond into the back yard. It was a good day to stay inside and sew. The cable and phone was out for awhile but thank goodness not the electric. There is a nice little crust of ice on top of the snow.
