Trip to India-Nepal Part Three

This is the magnificant Golden Gate, or Sun Dhoka, the door to the 55 Window Palace, and considered to be the most important piece of art in the whole Kathmandu Valley. It was completed in 1754. It opens to the inner courtyard of the palace. The Fasidega Temple with guardians on its steps, adjacent to the Palace.

There are wonderful creatures everywhere.

The famous Dattatreya temple, built in 1427. It is said to have been built from the timber from a single tree.

There are wonderful walks in every direction . We chanced upon a group of women knitting in a tiny alleyway.
The town is famous for its puppets and marionettes.
