India-Nepal Trip...Chapter Five

Picturesque storefronts like this can be found all around the Kathmandu Valley. A beautiful old building...probably several hundred years old. Shiva Parvati Temple, Bhaktapur
A small boy (no pants) ringing the bell at the temples.

Rameshwar Temple, just outside the gated zone so there are cars around.
A group of women sunning themselves on a temple steps. Traders come along with vegetables on baskets on a pole over their shoulders. Stop beside the road and set up shop.

Back in Kathmandu a candlelight dinner at a lovely garden restaurant with live music. There were lots of tourists in town and it was hard to get a table.
Surely its time for a bit of jewelry.
A great tea shop in Old Kathmandu near Thahiti Tole. The owner made a mistake in the total he charged Janet, and ran after her a few minutes later to give her a refund. We went back for more tea a few days later.
