I love to travel all over the globe shopping for textiles to add to my wearable art. I have taught quilting to school children in Nepal, seminole patchwork to seamstresses in Thailand, and jackets and embellishment to quilters in Turkey where I also served as a judge at 2 of their International Quilt Shows. I have created garments for 5 Fairfield and Bernina Fashion Shows and teach classes on embellishment and wearable art. Lately I have been leaning more toward making art quilts.

Marcia DeCamp's Trunk Show at Schweinfurth
A large group braved the snow today to see the annual quilt show and attend Marcia DeCamp's Trunk Show. I am not going to make too many comments other than it was a great show and you will probably be able to see more information on her blog...www.decampstudio.blogspot.com. I was too busy taking photos to take notes. Here Marcia on the right is being introduced.
Two of her grandmother's quilts.

I love the quilts, I have never seen any quite like these. My mother is an old school quilter, I will show these wonderful pictures to her.
