A visit from my sister who lives in D.C.

My sister Elizabeth who lives in D.C. came for a visit this weekend. After a family Lasagna dinner on Thursday night we decided to take a drive to Palmyra and Hill Cumorah on Friday. We visited the hill and the visitors center and after a great lunch on the Eric Canal took a drive home through three Canal villages. She plans on taking a bike ride from Buffalo to Clyde next year and was interested in seeing the route. That evening we had a delicious dinner at the Way Point Restaurant on Sodus Bay.
It is a beautiful restaurant and Marina right on the Bay.

As we left a band was setting up on the terrace.
On Saturday it was big doings in Wolcott. We began visiting yard sales all over town. But the "main event" so to speak was Dog Day in the park. There were dog and owner look alike contests, dog fashion show contests and stands selling treats for dogs. Followed by a band concert at 2 pm. How much excitement can one person take?
